Daniel Currie's good form for Werribee has been rewarded, with Brad Scott and the match committee naming him as an emergency for the first time in 2013.

As reported earlier by NMFC.com.au, Will Sierakowski will play his first AFL game at Blundstone Arena on Saturday. It's the left-footer's pay off for sustained quality efforts at VFL level.

Lachlan Hansen was able to complete training but has only been named as an emergency. Brad Scott's message to the media that if players completed the session, it would not guarantee their inclusion, proving prophetic.

"Unless I'm comfortable with the level of training they've done and how they perform in the main session they won't play," Scott said on Wednesday, referring to both Hansen and Robbie Tarrant.

Tarrant was unable to complete the session and will miss a third match.
