North Melbourne has arrived on the Gold Coast ahead of its hub stay for the next four weeks.

The Roos departed Arden St early Monday morning, before boarding a shared flight with Essendon to Coolangatta Airport.

North will be faces with strict quarantine conditions keeping the players and staff within the facility, except for training and games.

“The boys are pretty happy,” Round 5 Rising Star nominee Curtis Taylor told North Media.

“We got some nice warm weather when we got off the plane.

“There are some pools and some grassy areas for us to escape to during the initial 14 days, and we can’t wait to get back out there on Saturday against Essendon.”

After a two-week period, restrictions will ease in-line with AFL protocols, allowing leisure activities.

The Roos will have their first training session on the Gold Coast on Tuesday before taking on the Bombers at Metricon Stadium on Saturday night.
