North Melbourne could lose yet another player for Sunday’s clash with Richmond after the Match Review Panel charged gritty midfielder Levi Greenwood with a level two offence.
The 23-year old’s collision with St Kilda’s David Armitage during the second quarter was assessed as reckless conduct, low impact and high contact.
Greenwood can accept a one-match sanction with an early plea.
It follows Jack Ziebell’s possible three-match sanction after a hit on Saints’ captain Nick Riewoldt.
Armitage was also charged with engaging in rough conduct against Leigh Adams and will face a one-match ban while Brendon Goddard’s punch to the stomach of Brent Harvey was ‘below that required to constitute a reportable offence’.
