North Melbourne's players have had their final training session at Aegis Park ahead of round one on Saturday. After a long summer full of hard work, it was a case of putting the finishes touches on the five-month long grueling preparation.

Sunday afternoon’s clash against the Eagles will see the pre-season benefits on show and while the Kangaroos' fate is yet to be decided, those representing the royal blue and white couldn't be better prepared.

Ben McKinley, Shaun Atley, Cameron Richardson and Cameron Pedersen all trained well throughout the light skills session, while Drew Petrie joined in as he gets ready for a round two return.

Now it's off to the airport as the players, coaches and staff make their way to Perth.
