"It was fantastic. It's always a good turn-out here and it's always a lot better to train in front of the fans," developing ruckman Ben Mabon said.
During the two-hour session, the intensity was high with a series of skill-based exercises meaning the pressure was on to perform.
Senior coach Brad Scott was a keen observer and even showed the players a couple of his own skills at the end of session.
But it was Brad McKenzie who again impressed most with his accurate kicking.
Mabon was another stand-out, enjoying some continuity in his training load after an injury-plagued 2011.
"I've done pretty much every session and the body's been really good. Fingers crossed I'm going to have a bigger year than last year and obviously get out on the park and play a few more games.”
North Melbourne is set to hold several more afternoon/twilight training sessions throughout the summer, with the next scheduled for the 19th of December.
