North Melbourne coach Dean Laidley has selected live-wire forward Matt Campbell and deputy-vice captain Daniel Pratt for the clash with St Kilda on Saturday at Docklands.

Campbell, who has missed the past three games with a hamstring injury, came back through the VFL last week and got through unscathed.

He’s kicked eight majors for the season in five games and will add some fire power to a forward line which has struggled for goals in 2009.

Like his teammate, Pratt returns from a hamstring injury that kept him on the side-lines for several weeks.

The defender also played a part in North Ballarat's last gasp win over Williamstown last week and was a standout with 19 possessions and eight marks.

Also back into the side is former rookie Nathan Grima, who after being omitted for the match against Brisbane, was a strong contributor for Werribee in the VFL.

The 23 year-old had 20 possessions and six spoils and even snuck forward to kick a goal for the Tigers.

Midfielder Sam Power also comes back into the side after slightly injuring his hamstring against Fremantle in Round 9.

Power has averaged 18 possessions a game and could have the task of stopping one of St Kilda's damaging midfielders such as Nick Dal Santo or Luke Ball.

Sam Wright will have more time to impress after being named on the wing alongside Murray Bushranger teammate Jack Ziebell. Both have shown plenty to all indications suggest they’ll have exciting careers ahead. Meanwhile fellow 2009 debutant Ben Warren will hope to kick another bag of goals after booting four last week.

Defender Scott Thompson will be in for another challenge with the likes of Nick Riewoldt and Justin Koschitzke to deal with. The youngster will rely on the support of Grima, Josh Gibson and Scott McMahon deep in defence.

Levi Greenwood, Todd Goldstein, Daniel Harris and Aaron Edwards have all been omitted from the side and will go back to their VFL sides on the weekend and push for a return.

Corey Jones has again been named as an emergency.
