The 24-year old is one of two inclusions for the Kangaroos, with Lachlan Hansen also named in the 22 for the clash against the Crows.
Anthony had 27 disposals and kicked two goals in his last game in the royal blue and white, but was subsequently sent back to the VFL the following week.
"Liam had some things to work on and responded in the best possible fashion,” North Melbourne coach Brad Scott said.
“He was really a game winner for North Ballarat last weekend in pretty trying circumstances after travelling back from the Gold Coast late Saturday night and playing Sunday.”
Hansen’s versatility will make him a valuable addition whether it be forward or back as he lines up for his first game of 2012.
Scott hinted on Thursday the number six was close to selection a month ago, before he was suspended for rough conduct in the VFL.
Having played the last four games, Levi Greenwood has been omitted from the team that defeated the Gold Coast by seven-points, while Aaron Black will line up for North Ballarat with some valuable experience under his belt.
Greenwood, Black and Will Sierakowski are the emergencies.
