Wednesday in Utah and North Melbourne players embarked on a testing seven hour hike in freezing conditions.

Those who hadn't experienced the camp before were in for a real shock with temperatures plummeting and the wind chill factor high.

Rocky terrain, steep mountainsides and falling snow also made the going tough.

The all-day hike is set to be longest during the trip.
