North Melbourne supporters and all football fans are being urged to get to Etihad Stadium on Monday, June 28 to be a part of Australian Film history.
Kangaroos’ supporter and film director Simon Wincer is calling for 250 fans to be extras in his latest project The Cup - a film about champion jockey Damien Oliver.
Several scenes will be shot on the day with the stars of the movie Stephen Curry and Daniel McPherson in attendance.

If you want to be a part of the action, all you need to do is email the club at info@kangaroos.com.au and register your interest. Make sure you put “The Cup” in the subject box and tell us how many people you will be bringing.
All extras will be fed on the day and will have the chance to go behind the scenes in what promises to be a true Australian blockbuster.
All football fans and supporters are welcome and everyone must gather at Gate 4 at Etihad Stadium from 2pm on Monday, June 28, dressed in North Melbourne or West Coast attire.
More than 100 actors, a crew of more than 100 and 3000 extras will bring The Cup to life. Wincer has directed Phar Lap, The Light Horsemen, Free Willy, The Phantom, Lonesome Dove, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles and Into the West.
