Since his return to the North Melbourne side in Round 8, Nathan Grima has been steadily increasing his Dream Team output. Now with his 132-points against Gold Coast, the backman has notched his first century since Round 19, 2010.

With Dream Teams all over the country in chaos during the bye rounds, Grima could be a good short-term investment. Despite his current price falling in the awkward middle range, a very low break-even means he’s is in line to increase his value significantly. If everything goes well, Grima could be traded for a premium defender right on the eve of finals time.

After his second 100-plus score in three rounds, it appears Brent Harvey is over his quiet patch. Four goals and 29 disposals saw Harvey judged as North's best player on Saturday night. A career average of 20 possessions and 1.5 goals a game against Adelaide also suggests he could post another strong score next week.

As suggested post-Round 10, Todd Goldstein has continued his rise back to his 2011 levels. A 104-point tally has seen him shoot past the $400,000 mark. With popular ruck choice Jonathan Giles now maxed out in price, Goldstein has to be heavily considered to be traded in.

In 2011's match against the Crows, Goldstein amassed a whopping 48 hit-outs to go with 17 disposals and seven tackles. He tallied 144 DT points that day; a similar score on Sunday would leave your team in a great position for either a League or Eliminator victory.

Drew Petrie's 23 disposals against Gold Coast was the second highest tally of his career, and it was reflected in a mammoth 126-point score. While it would be unrealistic to expect that number to continue, Petrie could have easily had a big bag of goals on Saturday.

If the ball bounces the right way in future weeks, the extra points from more goals for the vice-captain will more than make up for a slight reduction in possessions.

Finally, coaches rejoiced as Sam Gibson was impressive in his debut with 18 disposals and five marks. With Brad Scott speaking highly of Gibson in the post-match press conference, it appears he will have a spot in the team long enough to be a logical downgrade option in the midfield.
