The first quarter

The second quarter

9.55 remaining - A contentious free kick is paid against Daniel Wells for DELIBERATE. From the resultant play, the Bulldogs move the ball forward. Ayce Cordy pulls down a strong mark deep in attack and kicks a GOAL. Bulldogs by 13.

8.00 remaining - Desperate for a goal, North streams forward in numbers. Drew Petrie dishes a handball to Lindsay Thomas who gets it over to Leigh Adams. He kicks a GOAL from 40m on the run. Bulldogs by 7.

The third quarter

19.40 remaining - The Bulldogs get the all-important first clearance from the middle and move the ball forward. Tory Dickson is on the end of it, but it's touched off the boot. Dickson gets around an opponent and kicks a GOAL. Bulldogs by 25.

19.15 remaining - Having missed a couple of easy chances in the second term, Lindsay Thomas roves off a contest in attack. He splits the back then kicks a TERRIFIC CHECKSIDE GOAL. Bulldogs by 19.

16.40 remaining - Deep in defence, Kieran Harper eyes Andrew Swallow for the switch. The kick is dangerous and Daniel Cross is only too happy to intercept, run in and kick a GOAL. Bulldogs by 25.

14.30 remaining - Daniel Wells kicks cleverly to Liam Anthony deep in the forward pocket. With 21 POSSESSIONS already to his name, Anthony steps back calmly and slots a GREAT GOAL from a tight angle. Bulldogs by 19.

12.25 remaining - North moves the ball out of the centre again. It ends up with Liam Picken who is tackled by Jack Ziebell. The ball falls free and Brian Lake dives on it. He's caught and gives away a free kick for holding the ball. Petrie kicks the GOAL. Bulldogs by 14.

The Dogs continued their ascendency through the middle with another clearance. Justin Sherman is first to the front of the pack and kicks a quality snap GOAL. Bulldogs by 20.

11.15 remaining - Justin Sherman is in the right place at the right time again, roving the pack in the goal square to kick his second GOAL in a minute. Bulldogs by 26.

10.45 remaining - North gets the clearance. Lindsay Thomas takes a good mark about 60 out and delivers a long kick to the advantage of Aaron Edwards. Edwards, who'd had a quiet first half reads it well and takes the mark directly in front. He kicks the GOAL. Bulldogs by 20.

9.10 remaining - It's raining goals in the third term, and this time it's Robert Murphy on the end of some good work by the Bulldogs to kick a GOAL. Bulldogs by 26.

6.20 remaining - Daniel Wells works the ball nicely off half-back, with the ball eventually ending in the hands of Lindsay Thomas. His pin-point pass lands in the arms of Leigh Adams, but it was touched off the boot. Adams dishes to Liam Anthony who snaps a WONDERFUL GOAL. Bulldogs by 20.

10.30 remaining: The Bulldogs get the all-important first GOAL of the term through Daniel Giansiracusa after he outbodies debutant Brad McKenzie. Bulldogs by 22.

Brad McKenzie SHOWS OFF HIS TALENT with a good mark and subsequent perfect pass to Drew Petrie. The vice-captain pulls down a HUGE MARK and kicks a goal to North in the game. Bulldogs by 16.
