McIntosh to undergo surgery
The North Melbourne Football Club can confirm ruckman Hamish McIntosh will undergo surgery after injuring his right knee while jumping during training on Wednes
“Scans have revealed Hamish sustained a lateral meniscus tear to his knee and will require arthroscopic surgery,” Director of Medical Services Steve Saunders said.
McIntosh had already missed the last two matches due to knee soreness, but will now be forced to spend more time on the sidelines.
“This is obviously very frustrating for Hamish because he was close to returning to play from a previous injury.
“His rehabilitation time is expected to be four to six weeks, which we will be able to confirm after the surgery.”
