Pre-game pump up

Keep an eye on the scoreboard after Port’s team enters the ground for the video above. The video, featuring the traditional first verse of the North Melbourne song will be played prior to the players running out at all Roos home games this year.
Make sure you watch the scoreboard about 10 minutes before the bounce and join in the chorus to pump up the team when they enter the field.

If you want the most up-to-date injury and selection news while you’re at the game, photos from the rooms and live match coverage log onto North’s official social media pages facebook.com/northkangaroos and twitter.com/northkangaroos on your phone.
The Huddle bays
Some special guests from the Huddle’s Indigenous Academy and their families will enjoy a rare taste of AFL football at Saturday’s game.
The North Melbourne Football Club, through the Huddle, offers the Indigenous Academy program for boys in Years 7 and 8 of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background.
The Academy runs from February to September and gives participants unique experiences such as coaching by AFL coaches and players, access to state of the art facilities at Aegis Park, leadership workshops, health and well being and cultural identity workshops. The Indigenous Academy activities are designed to enhance football development, improve life skills (leadership, respect, teamwork, communication), promote healthy lifestyle and address social cohesion. The program is delivered with the help of Melbourne Aboriginal Youth Sport and Recreation (MAYSAR) and AFL Victoria.
Some kids from North’s heartland will also be at the game, with those who participate in North Melbourne / Kensington / Flemington Auskick Centres also in the Huddle bays, along with Coldstream Junior Football Club and some International students from University of Melbourne's School of Engineering.
