kangaroos.com.au says
Wright bounced back from an injury plagued 2011 to play all but two games in a variety of roles.
Perhaps his best game of the season was in Round 3 against Geelong when he limited Steve Johnson to just six disposals in the first three quarters, forcing the Cats’ star to move into the midfield. Along similar lines, Wright played a superb role on Brendon Goddard in Round 14, riling the Saint up to such a degree, he was reported for striking.
Wright also spent moments forward, kicking four goals against Brisbane in Round 9 as well as the sealer against St Kilda and a crucial last quarter major against Essendon in Round 20.
He also collected the first Brownlow votes of his career against the Bombers for 32 possessions and 10 marks.
