Pre-game pump up

Keep an eye on the scoreboard after Richmond’s team enters the ground for the video above. The video, featuring the traditional first verse of the North Melbourne song will be played prior to the players running out at all Roos home games this year.

Make sure you watch the scoreboard about 10 minutes before the bounce and join in the chorus to pump up the team when they enter the field!!

North’s new mascot ‘Kanga’ will also be in action again on screen and in the flesh, dancing up a storm prior to the bounce. Kanga is also expected to spend some time in the North End, the Huddle bays and the cheersquad during the game.

The name ‘Kanga’ was selected after a spirited competition to choose a name, which was taken out by Roos member Brendan Silva, who has won a special appearance by Kanga.


Pre-match media

You can also hear directly from players and the coach as they complete their preparations for the match. At 3.40pm EST Brad Scott will be on SEN, Hamish McIntosh will be on AFL Live, Brady Rawlings will be on 3AW and Michael Firrito will be on MMM.

Change Rooms passes

Membership

Memberships are on sale outside gates 5 and 7 and on the Spencer Street footbridge from 1.30pm and member caps, lanyards and ticket wallets can be collected from these gates and the footbridge.


The North End

North End members can purchase guest passes to bring their friends into the fold for just $5 for kids and $10 for adults by contacting the membership service centre on 1300 KANGA (1300 526 427).

Due to popular demand the North End reserved seat bays have been extended, so you can still secure a seat among the North Melbourne faithful for our remaining home games.

The Huddle Bays

Some special guests will enjoy their first taste of AFL football at Sunday’s game.

Students from Majak Daw’s old school, MacKillop College Werribee along with
Wyndhamvale Junior Football Club, the Chinese Young Mothers Association and Kensington/Flemington Junior Football Club will be seated in Aisles 26-28 at the North End as part of North Melbourne’s Huddle community ticketing program.

Mazda Face in the crowd

The Mazda ‘Face in the Crowd’ competition will be run about 25 minutes prior to the first bounce. Make sure you bring along the flag you received at the round two game against Collingwood and wave it to be spotted by the camera and go into the mix to win a Mazda prize pack.

The Roo Shop will be open on Saturday April 23 from 10am-1pm.

The North Melbourne Membership Services Counter will be open at Aegis Park during the club's open training session on Saturday from 10am-1pm.
