North Melbourne players Ben Cunnington, Lindsay Thomas and Ryan Bastinac provided reason to smile at Wyndham Vale Auskick last Friday with a special appearance.

For any aspiring footballer, the chance to meet those at the highest level is a dream come true, and it was made all the more special for junior joey Zachary Jenkins who was awarded Auskicker of the Week honours on the night.

A grade-two student at Heathdale Christian College, Zachary was one of the lucky children to be taught kicking, handballing and even some special tricks by the Kangaroos’ stars.

Wyndham Vale Auskick is run by the Wyndham Vale Football Club, the junior club of North rookie Majak Daw. Registrations are still being welcomed for boys and girls aged between 6 and 12.
