AFL.com.au: Former Sydney Swans Senior Listed player (2007-2011) with great athleticism as well as strong hands in marking situations. Very direct with hit-outs as well as follow up work when the ball hits the ground. Won the NEAFL League B & F in 2011 showing great improvement since departing the Swans.
Bryce Lewis: We did lose Hamish. We’re very happy with how Mabon and Daw are coming on underneath Todd Goldstein but we didn’t think it would hurt to provide another one (ruckman).
Daniel spent some time in Sydney and had a very good year for North Adelaide in the SANFL. We thought he was the best fit for us in terms of State League ruckmen. He’s still only 23
