North Melbourne youngster Curtis Taylor will miss the next three weeks with a knee injury, GM Football Brady Rawlings has confirmed.

Taylor limped from the field after a collision in the third quarter of Saturday's clash against Adelaide, before returning late in the game.

"It's disappointing that young Curtis is out," Rhyce Shaw said.

"He's been playing such good footy for us and he's been fantastic.

"Hopefully he can get back really quickly, because he's a really valuable member of our team and we're looking forward to seeing what he can do in the latter part of the year."

Rawlings confirmed Jack Ziebell will miss a further three weeks with a hamstring injury, while Taylor Garner (hamstring) is two weeks away from main training.

Paul Ahern (hamstring) will be available for selection this week.
