North Melbourne will regain three key players for this week's clash against Fremantle with the inclusions of Daniel Wells, Jack Ziebell and Brady Rawlings for Saturday's match.

Wells will return for the Kangaroos after he was a late withdrawal from the team that lost to Geelong.

The 24 year-old, who excelled off half-back against Port Adelaide, is looking forward to playing his part in the AFL's Indigenous round.

"We're a club where a lot of indigenous players have had a lot of success. This week is one round of footy you just don't want to miss out on."

Rawlings, who has missed the past two matches with a leg injury, is set to provide some much needed experience through the middle after North Melbourne were outclassed by the Cats midfield last week.

The two-time Syd Barker Medal winner has averaged 22 possessions per game in 2009 and was a late withdrawal against Port Adelaide in Round 7 and again against Geelong in Round 8.

NAB Rising Star nominee Ziebell will return to the North Melbourne side after being rested with a slight injury concern last week.

The Kangaroos' first round draft pick in 2008 has had a strong start to his AFL career, averaging 18 possessions and three tackles a game so far this season.

Daniel Harris, Ed Lower and Matt Riggio have been omitted from the North Melbourne team.
