The line-breaking defender from Swan Districts was picked up by the Roos with 23rd pick of the 2023 AFL National Draft after captaining Western Australia in the under-18 championships.
He earned All-Australian honours in his draft year after averaging 18.5 disposals across the championships, before testing himself against bigger bodies by making his WAFL debut for Swan Districts.
Hardeman is also a speed machine with a raking left-foot kick, and can have an impact as an outside midfielder.
