An All-Australian player in 2017 with Collingwood, King arrived at Arden Street in 2019 and has since grown to become not only one of the club’s most important talls, but one of the most lethal ruck/forward threats in the competition.

As such a strong marking target inside forward 50 and up the line as well as an accurate goalkicker, King is always a threat from the opposition's perspective.

Forming a powerful ruck duo with Kim Rennie, King became a consistent and reliable presence across the Roos’ dominant period.

She didn’t miss a game across 2023 and 2024, and after being on the outskirts of the team following an injury in early 2025, she managed to break back in and collect a second premiership medal in as many years.
