2023's AFLW Sign and Trade Period saw the Kangaroos acquire Shierlaw, a standout key forward who had already won St Kilda’s best and fairest.

Using her elite combination of aerial ability and athleticism, she made a sizeable impact in her first year as a Roo Shierlaw kicked 12 goals from 12 appearances while adding a new dynamic to the side's forward line, grabbing a total of 18 contested marks (ranked fourth in the AFLW).

As the Roos secured their first premiership in 2024, Shierlaw firmly established herself as one of the competition’s premier forwards.

The 35-year-old kicked 18 goals from 11 games including a bag of five against Melbourne.

It was her best overall season statistically, earning her an All-Australian squad nomination alongside a premiership medal.
