In 2023's AFLW Trade Period the Kangaroos acquired Shierlaw, a standout key forward who had already won St Kilda’s best and fairest.

Using her elite combination of aerial ability and athleticism, she made a sizeable impact in her first year as a Roo, kicking 12 goals from 12 appearances while adding a new dynamic to the side's forward line, ranking fourth for contested marks across the AFLW.

As the Roos secured their first premiership in 2024, Shierlaw firmly established herself as one of the competition’s premier forwards.

While adding another 10 goals in 2025, she would often be thrown behind the ball late in quarters where she continued to display her marking prowess and intercepting ability.
