A hero of the 2025 AFLW Grand Final, Sheerin became a Kangaroo in the 2024 AFLW Trade Period, arriving from Richmond in exchange for draft pick No.18.

Sheerin originally joined the Tigers as a mature-age recruit in 2022 ahead of Season 7. She soon impressed with her athletic ability, strength, dash from stoppage and competitiveness, and twice earned All Australian honours as a half-back/midfielder.

A hamstring injury sidelined her for six games in her first season at Arden St, but she returned for the 2025 preliminary final against Melbourne, before tearing apart the Lions on Grand Final night a week later. She gathered 28 disposals, nine clearances and booted two goals to claim Best on Ground honours, polling a maximum 12 votes from the medal adjudicators.
