Just days after representing Williamstown against North Melbourne's VFLW side in early April 2023, Ruby Tripodi was taken by the Roos with the 23rd pick of the 2023 Supplementary Draft.

Mainly stationed inside forward 50 in her debut 2023 season, Tripodi saw plenty of success, playing nine games, but was dropped on the eve of that year’s finals campaign.

Ahead of the 2024 season, she went to work adding power and endurance to her game, transforming herself into an emerging inside midfielder with a huge defensive work ethic.

Having watched from the sidelines as the team lost the 2023 Grand Final, she was at the heart of the action in 2024, playing every game and earning a premiership medal.
