What is Freestyle?

"You can’t be what you can’t see"

Freestyle is a pathways program to help raise awareness, consideration and action for women and non-binary people who are interested in exploring a rewarding career in the building and construction industry.

The program is a joint initiative between the North Melbourne Football Club and Empowered Women in Trade who will combine their resources and experience to create safe pathways for young people in industries that have traditionally been male-dominated.

Kicking Goals in Trades program

In an exciting collaboration with Freestyle and the North Melbourne Football Club, we present the 'Kicking Goals in Trades' program – a dynamic and immersive trade experience tailored for schools.

Designed to inspire and educate, our program reaches female and non-binary students from Year 7 through to Year 10 and those in VCE VM/VCAL classes.

Through hands-on activities, interactive sessions, and real-world insights, we aim to spark curiosity and passion for trades among the younger generation. Together, we're teaching skills and shaping the future of trades, one student at a time.
