Brent Harvey is lacing up the boots for North Melbourne once again this Friday, with the AFL games record holder taking part in the Legends Kick for the Kids alongside Western Bulldogs legend Doug Hawkins.

Proudly sponsored by Mazda and Tasmanian Heritage, Harvey and Hawkins will be going head to head in a goalkicking competition with each goal resulting in a set amount donation to the Good Friday Appeal from the event's generous sponsors.

Harvey played an AFL record 432 games for North Melbourne in his storied career which included a premiership triumph in 1999 and five Syd Barker Medals.

He ended his career in 2016 with four All-Australian selections, 518 goals and a place in the North Melbourne Team of the Century.

Hawkins played 329 games for Footscray across three decades, making his debut in 1978 before leaving for Fitzroy in 1995.

He won a Charles Sutton Medal as the club's best and fairest player in 1985, and finished as their leading goalkicker in 1991. He ended his time at the club with 216 goals, primarily playing off the wing.

The showdown will take place at half-time of the Good Friday SuperClash between North Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs.
