North Melbourne's VFLW side entered the last round of the season needing a monster win to have any chance of scraping into the last finals place, however an in-form Southern Saints side proved too strong for the travelling Kangaroos.

Despite the loss, North's players can hold their heads high not only from a strong performance on the day, but for a brilliant second half of the campaign that saw them soar up the ladder.
