Leigh Adams has elected to make minimal change for his first game in charge against Richmond, with the North Melbourne Kangaroos making one alteration to the team that suffered a narrow defeat to Collingwood last week.

Jason Horne-Francis returns to the senior side for the first time since the bye, with the first-year player missing two games with suspension before running out with the club’s VFL side last week.

He starred in the VFL loss to Collingwood, amassing 31 disposals and seven clearances in a dominant display of midfield craft. He kicked a well-taken left-footed goal in the final term to round out the high quality performance.

Charlie Lazzaro is the only omission from the team. He returned to the starting 22 for the first time since the Round 2 clash with West Coast two weeks ago and moves onto the emergency list.

Jack Mahony, Kayne Turner, and Kallan Dawson have also been named as emergencies.

One of the four will be named as the medical substitute on gameday.
