North Melbourne has agreed to a pick swap with the Adelaide Crows.

North will receive pick 23 in this year’s NAB AFL Draft in exchange for pick 59 and a future second-round selection.

“We were focused on moving up the draft order to the start of the second round, so we are pleased with the outcome,” North Melbourne list and recruiting manager Brady Rawlings said.

“Given we currently hold two future first-round picks, we were prepared to move our future-second round pick to bring in talent 12 months earlier.”

North Melbourne currently hold picks 2, 3, 23, 40, 43 and 70 in November’s NAB AFL Draft.
