North Melbourne is pleased to announce its newest principal partner RedZed, Australia’s loan specialists for the self-employed.

As part of the multi-year partnership agreement, RedZed will proudly feature on both the AFL and AFLW coaches and player polos. RedZed will also be involved in club community engagement initiatives, including the club’s Freestyle – Women in Trades program, as part of the partnership.

The new partnership comes as North Melbourne prepares to take on Carlton in the highly anticipated Good Friday SuperClash at Marvel Stadium.

"We are delighted to welcome RedZed as our principal partner, and we are especially excited that this partnership will kick off during the Good Friday SuperClash," North Melbourne acting chief commercial officer Cassie O’Brien said.

"This game holds a special place in the hearts of our club, footy fans and the wider community, and we are excited to announce such an important partnership for the club during the biggest game on our home and away fixture.

"We look forward to kicking off our partnership with RedZed."

The Good Friday SuperClash is an annual event that raises money for the Good Friday Appeal to help deliver the best possible care to patients and families at The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. Over the years, this event has become a marquee game for kids and families on the AFL calendar, with the money raised going towards ground-breaking medical research, state of the art equipment and technology equipment, family centred care programs and attracting and retaining the brightest minds at the hospital.

"We are proud to be partnering with the North Melbourne Kangaroos and joining forces at such an exciting time for the club," RedZed Managing Director Evan Dwyer said.

"North Melbourne has always been progressive and innovative. From being the pioneers of Friday night football, responding to their community and more recently having Jen and Sonja as leaders of the club. They are leading the way in terms of aligning the club with community values.

"We have long admired that renowned Shinboner spirit which reminds us of the self-employed clients we serve every day. Australia’s self-employed community, like the Kangaroos are resilient, passionate and always find a way to succeed as the underdog. The Royal Children’s Hospital holds a special place for my family so being able to announce it on such an important day for the Royal Children’s Hospital is an added bonus."

Since 2006, RedZed have been an Australian owned and operated financial services company that focuses on servicing the needs of the 2.1 million self-employed Australian’s by funding nearly $10 billion in residential and commercial loans.

RedZed are also the Major Partner of the Melbourne Storm Rugby League team in Australian’s NRL competition and the Principal Partner of the Hobart Hurricanes who participate in Australia’s BBL Cricket competition.
