North Melbourne has signed Elijah Tsatas, Samson Ryan and Darragh Joyce as delisted free agents.
Former Bomber Tsatas was taken at pick No.5 in the 2022 AFL Draft, a pick after Harry Sheezel at No.3 and George Wardlaw at No.4.
The 22-year-old midfielder featured in 22 games during his time at Essendon and averaged well over 30 disposals at VFL level in 2026, finishing in the top 10 of the J.J. Liston Trophy.
Following 31 games in six seasons at Richmond, Ryan has also signed with the club.
The 25-year-old provides valuable ruck depth to complement the club's key-position stocks.
Adding further defensive and key-position depth, former Lion and Saint, Joyce will also cross to Arden Street.
The 29-year-old versatile tall brings valuable experience from stints at St Kilda and Brisbane, playing 27 career games including three senior appearances for the Lions during their premiership-winning campaign in 2026.
Head of football talent Brady Rawlings said he was looking forward to welcoming the trio.
“With a slightly more compressed draft hand this year, we made the strategic decision to be very active in the DFA period,” Rawlings said.
“Elijah already has a solid amount of experience under his belt, but we know he’s still got plenty of improvement ahead of him. Samson has six years' experience in the AFL system and will give us added depth among our talls as he continues to develop his craft, and Darragh provides proven reliability and key-position flexibility that will strengthen our back half.”
“We’re happy that Elijah, Samson and Darragh have signed with us, and our playing group is looking forward to welcoming them all.”
