North Melbourne is pleased to announce a new three-year partnership with Australia’s most trusted paint brand Dulux.

Since 1918, Dulux has helped Australians transform their homes, businesses and communities, as a leading provider of quality paints, coatings and accessories and through various community-based partnerships and initiatives.

The new partnership with the Kangaroos will see the Dulux logo proudly feature on the men’s team’s training footballs. The partnership will also be supported by player ambassadors.

Dulux will join the North Network, become a partner of club’s community arm, The Huddle, and the club’s Freestyle – Women in Trades program, which aims to help women and non-binary people start a rewarding career in the building and construction industry.

“We are excited to welcome Dulux on board as a partner for the next three years,” North Melbourne chief executive Jennifer Watt said.

“Just like the Kangaroo, Dulux has become an Australian icon with its premium paints, grassroots support and beloved Old English Sheepdog mascot resonating with Australians everywhere.

“Dulux’s shared commitment to giving back to the community makes the brand a natural fit for our club, and we look forward to working together into the future.”

Dulux General Manager of Trade Jevan Dickinson also expressed the brand’s excitement to partner with the Kangaroos, to continue to make a difference within Australian communities.

“The partnership with the North Melbourne Football Club is the latest initiative by Dulux to explore and support community initiatives throughout Victoria and Tasmania together,” Dickinson said.

“As local manufacturers with our state-of-the-art factory only 40 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD and a network of local paint stores that support communities across the country, this partnership is another indication of our commitment to grassroots engagement and support.

“We are especially keen to get involved in the programs run by The Huddle, along with the Freestyle – Women in Trades program as we seek to encourage more women to become painters.

“With a strong commitment to grassroots support, we feel that our values and vision at Dulux complement those of North Melbourne and give us the opportunity to bring some exciting community initiatives to fruition together.”

Dulux already helps protect, maintain, and enhance the spaces and places where Australians live, work and play through several grassroots partnerships and initiatives, including its partnership with Surf Life Saving Australia which has seen more than 40,000 litres of Dulux Weathershield® donated to 250 clubs in over 10 years and counting.
