Sunday evening on the Gold Coast will see a great player and person of North Melbourne further etch his name into the club's storied history.

A timeless presence on-field, and a crucial one at that, Todd Goldstein was drafted by the Kangaroos back in 2006 with pick No.37, and has remained loyal to the club ever since.

Against the Suns this weekend, he'll become just the sixth Kangaroo ever to notch 300 AFL appearances, joining a prestigious list of talented Shinboners…

Wayne Schimmelbusch

Wearing a blue and white striped guernsey for 15 years saw 'Schimma' become the first Kangaroo to chalk up 300 games.

Having finished his career with 306 games to his name, the two-time premiership player achieved the feat in Round 4, 1987 in his final season as a Roo and gathered 16 disposals in his side's nine-point win over the Cats.
