The North Melbourne Football Club is pleased to announce a new advertising and sponsorship agreement with major Australian corporate bookmaker Betezy.

Betezy is one of seven sports wagering providers to have signed an information-sharing and financial agreement with the AFL and launched a new website roobet.com.au at midday today to service the club’s passionate members and supporters.

“We are extremely happy to enter this exciting three year agreement with Betezy, the owner and operator of roobet.com.au. It has created a significant commercial outcome for the club and will provide a place for all our fans to go when they want to place a sports or racing bet,” said Club Chief Executive Eugene Arocca.

Betezy Managing Director Vince McDonald said, “It is a win-win situation with club supporters and members receiving the best prices available in Australia. The Club will benefit through each clients turnover whether they win or lose.”

Betezy joins an impressive list of club partners which includes major sponsor Mazda, X-Blades, Aspen Group, Astute, Blackwoods and ASG.

The wagering provider accepts telephone and internet bets on racing, sports and entertainment and was one of the first betting providers approved by the AFL on 1 January 2009.

“We are excited about our new partnership with the North Melbourne football club and look forward in being involved with the club for many years to come,” added McDonald.

"This deal will give Kangaroos supporters and all sports fans who become members of 'roobet' very favorable odds,” Arocca acknowledged.
