North Melbourne defender Kallan Dawson has accepted a one-match suspension for striking Collingwood's Jack Crisp. 

The incident occurred in the third quarter of the Kangaroos' heartbreaking one-point loss against the Magpies at Marvel Stadium on Sunday.

The incident was graded as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact. 

Dawson will miss Saturday night's game against Melbourne at the MCG.
