The opposition
The Cats are well equipped to return to the finals this season after missing out in 2024, and they showed why in their pre-season bout against Gold Coast earlier this month.
Led by talented onballer Georgie Prespakis, who booted two goals, Geelong brushed the Suns aside to claim a 58-point win on the eve of the home and away campaign.
Coach Dan Lowther's group have caused North Melbourne some headaches over recent meetings, but are still yet to knock off the Roos since entering the competition alongside them in 2019.
