North Melbourne vice-captain Harry Sheezel has been named in the AFL Players' Association's 22Under22 team for the third straight season.

Sheezel was included in the original 40-player squad alongside teammates Paul Curtis and Colby McKercher, with fans then voting on who made the final team.

The announcement comes after a career-best outing from the 20-year-old superstar, who equalled the all-time VFL/AFL disposals record with an incredible 54 touches in the win over Richmond.

Sheezel was named in 80 per cent of the fan-voted teams.
