North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos captain Jasmine Garner has avoided a serious ankle injury but is set to miss at least the next two weeks.
The star midfielder hurt her ankle in a marking contest early in the second quarter of Sunday’s 100-point win over Walyalup (Fremantle) and took no further part in the game.
Garner was sent for scans on Monday, which cleared her of any structural damage to her ankle.
More information will be shared in North Melbourne’s weekly injury update on Tuesday afternoon.
