North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos captain Jasmine Garner returns to the side for Sunday's Grand Final rematch with Brisbane at Brighton Homes Arena on Sunday.

The star onballer suffered a left ankle injury against Fremantle in Round 3 and missed last week's 45-point victory over Collingwood at Arden Street.

It's been a rapid recovery for Garner, who was initially expected to miss at least two weeks of football.

Ruck-forward Ariana Hetherington makes way for Garner.

Hetherington will be an emergency alongside experienced tall Emma King and speedy Irishwoman Amy Gavin Mangan.

Bouncedown at Brighton Homes Arena in Ipswich, Queensland is scheduled for 3.05pm AEST on Sunday afternoon.
