Superstar Jasmine Garner is in line for a quick return after being named in the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos' squad for Sunday's Grand Final rematch against Brisbane.
Garner injured her left ankle against Fremantle in Round 3 and missed last week's win over Collingwood.
Though she was initially expected to miss at least two weeks, she has recovered quickly and will travel with the team to Brisbane.
Experienced ruck Emma King has also been named in the extended squad for what would be her season debut.
King's pre-season was restricted by a hamstring injury, and she has been pushing for selection since returning to fitness in recent weeks.
Irish speedster Amy Gavin Mangan is a third possible inclusion this week for what would be her second AFLW game, after an eye-catching debut in Round 2 against Port Adelaide.
The Kangaroos will name their selected team to face the Lions on Friday at 5pm AEST.
