North Melbourne's Callum Coleman-Jones and Zac Banch have each signed one-year contract extensions, committing to the club for the 2026 season.

Banch was taken with the second overall pick in the 2025 AFL Mid-Season Rookie Draft and has impressed since joining the club.

The former Werribee Tiger, who was a key part of their 2024 VFL premiership-winning team, has shown his clean and crafty skills as a small forward as well as his relentless work ethic.

Banch got his AFL career off to a solid start, playing three games before a rib injury sidelined him for two matches.

He returned for the final game of the season, where he kicked his first career goal to cap off his debut year. His impact was also recognised with a Mark of the Year nomination for a courageous grab against St Kilda in Round 21.

In four seasons at Arden Street, Coleman-Jones has shown glimpses of his potential despite being hampered by a series of unfortunate injuries.

The 200cm ruckman has played four senior games over the past two seasons. He made a brief return to the senior side in Round 19 this year, but a calf injury in that match brought his campaign to an early end.

"Callum is a talented player who has had a really tough run with injuries, but we have faith that he can get his body right and return to his best form," North Melbourne’s head of football talent Brady Rawlings said.

"Zac has been a fantastic addition to our forward line. He's shown great promise in his short time with us, and we believe his clean skills and pressure are valuable assets."
