Defender Eilish Sheerin will be available for the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos' preliminary final against Melbourne on Saturday at Ikon Park.
Sheerin hasn't played a game since injuring her hamstring during the warm-up prior to the team's Round 8 clash with Sydney, but is ready to make her long-awaited return.
"Eilish was so close to being available for our first final, however, we chose to give her the extra week and have her complete a good block of team training," North Melbourne senior AFLW physiotherapist Billy Williams said.
"She has trained fully for the last two weeks, including match simulation at our training session on Saturday."
Onballer Mia King is also chance of returning to the squad, having missed the Roos' past four matches due to a PCL injury.
King will face a fitness test later in the week to determine her selection availability.
"Mia really turned a corner in her knee rehab in the last week and is back training with the main group after ticking off return-to-contact rehab and high intensity agility," Williams said.
"She will need to complete more full-training content this week but is on track to be available."
