North Melbourne has secured a first-round selection in Wednesday night's 2025 NAB AFL Draft after a live trade with Carlton.

The Kangaroos receive pick No.11 from the Blues, along with pick No.54.

In exchange, the Blues receive picks No.25 and 46, and a 2026 second-round selection.

Following the trade, North Melbourne’s 2025 draft hand is picks No.11, 26 and 54. 

The picks are expected to slide in the draft order as clubs match bids for Academy and father-son prospects.

The draft's first round continues on Wednesday night at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, followed by the remaining rounds on Thursday night and the rookie draft and pre-season draft on Friday.
