Ariana Hetherington will depart North Melbourne after the Kangaroos agreed to a deal with Collingwood on the final day of the 2025 AFLW Trade Period.
The 26-year-old has been traded to the Magpies with North Melbourne receiving Collingwood's future third-round draft pick in return.
Hetherington joined the Kangaroos from Fremantle during last year's trade period, spending one season at Arden Street where she played five games during the 2025 premiership-winning campaign.
The key position player also featured in 12 games during her two seasons with the Dockers.
North Melbourne AFLW list manager Flynn Loft said Hetherington has been a valued member of the squad this year.
"Ari was a positive contributor both on and off-field this season and she should be proud of being part of a premiership winning squad," Loft said.
"We thank Ari for her attitude and efforts this year and wish her the very best for her time at Collingwood."
The trade is North Melbourne's fourth of the 2025 AFLW trade period, following Ella Slocombe's trade to West Coast, a pick swap with Carlton, and Georgia Stubs' move to Richmond. The trade period concludes on Wednesday at 4pm AEDT.
