North Melbourne has made two changes for Sunday evening's clash with Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.

Star ruck Tristan Xerri is back, having recovered from the fractured jaw he suffered against Richmond two weeks ago.

He is joined in the side by veteran defender and former skipper Luke McDonald, who was managed for the Roos' Round 16 win over Essendon.

Going out of the team is omitted duo Callum Coleman-Jones and Zane Duursma.

Captain and club spearhead Nick Larkey will run out for his 150th AFL appearance against the Power.

The Roos will be out to break their Adelaide Oval hoodoo, having never won there in 14 attempts.
