AFLW debutant Abby Favell is among three inclusions for North Melbourne's Indigenous Round clash with the Western Bulldogs in Launceston on Saturday.

Favell, who was signed as a replacement player in pre-season after impressing for the club's VFLW side, learned she would make her debut in front of her teammates on Thursday morning.

Two-time premiership player Emma King has been recalled for what will be her 99th AFLW game.

After missing Round 2's win over Brisbane, the ruck-forward dominated in the VFLW, booting three goals for North Melbourne Werribee against Collingwood.

Tessa Boyd has also been named to make her season debut after gathering 20 disposals and seven intercepts in the reserves.

Mia King (neck) comes out of the team that defeated the Lions in Queensland. An update on the star midfielder's injury will be provided on Friday.

Erika O'Shea (concussion) and Eilish Sheerin (knee) also miss this week.

Kristie-Lee Weston-Turner, Maddison Torpey and Sarah Wall are North Melbourne's three emergencies.

The Roos will wear their 2026 First Nations guernsey and special hand-painted boots for the Indigenous Round match at UTAS Stadium.
