Scott Thompson was the only Kangaroo to register a vote in the AFLCA Player of the Year for Round 7.

The defender was a stand-out on Sunday despite North Melbourne's 18-point loss against the Bulldogs, racking up 28 disposals and seven marks. In a high pressure game, his disposal efficency (89%) was a highlight.

Thompson has averaged almost 20 possessions a game in 2012 and is in arguably the best form of his career.
