Forward Sophie Abbatangelo will make her return to the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos’ lineup for Sunday’s clash against Melbourne.

The 28-year-old missed the match against the Bulldogs due to a minor quad strain, but has been named on a half-forward flank in this week’s squad, presented by Powershop.

Abbatangelo was a strong performer in Round 2, finishing with 12 disposals and a goal.

North Media earlier confirmed Beth Lynch will make her debut against the Demons.

The former netballer played 13 games with Richmond’s VFLW team last season, and was recruited as North’s final signing in October.

Lynch has been named alongside Georgia Nanscawen, Alison Drennan, Chloe Haines, Elisha King, Emma Humphries and versatile open-age recruit Taylor Mesiti on an extended interchange bench.

Four-goal hero Courteney Munn will miss this week with a minor calf niggle, while Nicole Bresnehan is out with a wrist injury.

The final team will be announced at 4.30pm on Friday.

The North team will train at Arden Street on Saturday, with fans invited to attend the session from 4pm-5pm.
