Six of North Melbourne’s VFL-listed players have been selected in the Young Guns Series Squad.

Brandan Ryan, Quintin Montanaro, Nick Hogan, Liam Wheelan, Fraser Cameron and Louis Cunningham are amongst the 21 years and under squad, which features players from all 15 clubs.

North Development Manager Ben Dyer said it is great recognition for the young Roos. 

“The program is designed for players who haven’t necessarily had exposure to recruiters as yet, as opposed to established VFL players,” Dyer said.

“It’s really important for player development, giving them the opportunity to show what they can do which can potentially result in being drafted.”

Players will be selected on a weekly basis, with the chance to play in at least one of the three games.
