After a slanging match with Nathan Grima, Hamish McIntosh has decided to treat North Melbourne supporters to live Tweets during Friday night's game against Carlton.

What started out as a well-intentioned congratulations for Grima's 50th game, quickly turned into a point-scoring battle.

Mcintosh used the hashtag #firstgoal to taunt Grima for not yet kicking a senior goal, but the key defender was quick to fire back.

"He is potting me for not yet kicking a goal. Hopefully I get a shot after the siren like H #butnotchoke #firstgoal"

While McIntosh called it a 'crucial point in the context of our season', Grima had other ideas.

"Maybe get out of the ABC commentary box and down to the rooms Friday and support the boys for a change #gerardwhateleyslovechild," Grima fired back.

However after the official North Melbourne account picked up on the banter, McIntosh would get his revenge.

Fans suggested live-tweets from McIntosh during the game and the ruckman was quick to agree.

"I may as well track Nani (Grima) and give a few updates," McIntosh said.

Now with the power of broadcasting his messages to almost 14,000 followers, Grima is at the mercy of his house-mate on Friday night. What will McIntosh say? What one-liners does he have up his sleeve? Follow North Melbourne on Twitter and all will be revealed.
